Mandatory EPCS in Nebraska

Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts signed Legislature Bill 583 into law on May 5th, 2021. This Act requires prescribers to electronically prescribe all controlled substance prescriptions by January 1st, 2022 in an effort to combat opioid abuse and addiction.

Nebraska Controlled Substances Prescription Monitoring

Nebraska does not currently offer an integration with their Controlled Substances PMP. Through an integration, prescribers can go directly to the patient's PMP report without having to log in to the PMP and search for the patient.
