Mandatory EPCS in Pennsylvania

Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf signed Act 96 into law on October 24th, 2018. The Act requires all controlled substance prescriptions to be sent electronically by October 24th, 2019. Pennsylvania's legislation contained the shortest deadline before enforcement of any state that has passed a mandate.
