Mandatory e-Prescribing in Iowa

Iowa governor Kim Reynolds signed House File 2377 into law on May 14th, 2018. This Act mandates that all presciptions be sent electronically by January 1, 2020.

Iowa Controlled Substances Prescription Monitoring

All prescribers and dispensers are required to consult the state PMP prior to prescribing or dispensing any controlled substance.
